Least Cost Routing Validation

Verify your routing plan with TCS prior to applying them to the switch.

Helpdesk

The TCS system provides the helpdesks with the possibility to quickly and easily verify a complaint, and provide a fast and good service that saves the company time and money.

Monitor your Network

It is possible to use TCS for testing and monitoring of your own telecom network. This is normally much more accurate than SS7 monitoring.

Billing Verification & monitoring

It is possible to strengthen the billing verification by using TCS. As TCS is external from the switch, it possible to verify that CDRs are produced correctly in the switch by comparing the results of TCS with the CDR produced. TCS monitors the AOC (Advice of charge) signalling, it provides a way to verify that the billing units are produced correctly. It is also possible to define alerts that are sent if the AOC information is not or incorrectly sent through the network.

Detection of calling card fraud

The TCS system can measure if voice messages are transmitted without receiving a connect or with a delayed connect. There are cases when calling card companies are using this method, without agreement with their operator, to reduce their own costs. The period of time that the customer is receiving instructions for how to use the service, which is normally billed to the calling card company, is reduced by delaying the connect.
